Prelude2Cinema was founded by Emmy winning writer and award winning director Alex P. Michaels. Alex is currently overseeing productions at Prelude2Cinema and is a member of the Board of Governors for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Lower Great Lakes Chapter (NATAS LGL). Prelude2Cinema began as a production company but has grown into a branded entertainment company whose goal is to creatively blend business marketing and entertainment.

From September 2008 to September 2009, Prelude2Cinema will air a TV Program named "PRELUDE2CINEMA PRESENTS..." that will showcase independent cinema. "PRELUDE2CINEMA PRESENTS..." will premiere the third week of September 2008 on Time Warner Cable in the Cleveland/ Akron/ Canton Ohio Market. Prelude2Cinema is seeking Businesses to integrate into productions in a unique and creative manner.
